Hmm, good point about not coming across any blogs that have not been updated recently. Probably a few reasons for that. Maybe a good topic for another day. ;)

It really does help when you have an audience, which is exactly the thing you lack with starting out a blog. :) In some ways that is probably good because you can really get into a good blogging rhythm by the time you start getting an audience.

What a true post title...
Don't know how many blogs I come across where the most recent post is from 6 months ago.

Of course blogging helps when you have an 'audience' (go figure.) And getting an audience takes work, time and patience.

ZB, I agree with you. There is a great sense of accomplishment with finishing another article and publishing it for the world to see.

I am with you. Not the New Year's resolution type; however, I do set flexible goals for my life. How about we set a goal for 2009 to try and blog a little more. :)

Merry Christmas to you!

Leo, great photo. I totally agree with you on the training aspects. I think just getting started is the hardest part. But once you do, you feel like you actually accomplished something. I don't normally have New Years' resolutions, but I think I have one now. More blogging!! Merry Christmas!

Thanks! Ooh, great question. For business blogs, an annual evaluation period perhaps? That evaluation period could help determine if the race continues or not for the blog. Like my pastor who guides me with leading my LifeGroup says: "begin with an end in mind". That helps me see where I want to set my goals appropriately.

For personal blogs... as long as you still have a story to tell. :)
